Hi, I'm Heather! I'm a newborn photographer located in Pine Island, MN. Alongside being a mom, a wife, and a nurse, I have found great joy in capturing the innocence and beauty of newborns through my photography.
With over six years of experience as a certified NICU nurse, I've undergone specialized training to ensure the safety and comfort of your little one during our session. My approach is gentle and patient, always allowing the baby to guide the flow of the session for a stress-free experience.

When you book, I will add your due date to my calendar. I will take a limited number of newborns each month so it's a good idea to book in advance. Your session fee and signed contract will be due at the time of your booking. Once baby is born, we will get an exact date set.
I typically photography newborns 7-10 days after they are born. In some instances that doesn't always work out and I am more than happy work around your schedule! As a NICU nurse I know some babies like to make an early or extra exciting debut, in these cases I will work with you and your family to schedule a date at a time that works for you..
All newborn sessions will take place weekdays starting between 9-10 A.M. at my in home studio located in Pine Island, MN
Book your session
A few days before your session I will send you a prep guide that will help us get a nice and sleepy baby for the session. A questionnaire will be included so I can get to know your style. I have a variety of outfits, backdrops and props to use during the session. Baby will be kept in a diaper during the session which will be covered by outfits or props. You can expect to be in studio for 2-3 hours depending on how baby cooperates. If you choose to sit back and relax, sit next to me, or even take a nap during the session, I have a comfortable place for families in the studio with complimentary beverages.
Take beautiful photos
At our session I will help you look through products available for purchase. Next, I will send you an e-mail with a link to all the soft proofs within 2 weeks of our session. Once you have your link it's as simple as liking the photos you want and ordering your products. I will walk you through every step of the process. The final edited images will be ready within four weeks. Printed products may take an additional 1-2 weeks to print.

As exhausting as the newborn stage is, these images will be a reminder for years to come of those sweet snuggles, little baby noises, and squishy cheeks.
